What is Community?

What is community? That’s a complicated question because I think of communities less as a “thing” or noun, and more like an action, or maybe a verb. To community? No, to communicate, to make communities, through language, through gestures, through particular forms of behavior that communicate identities. Even this is further complicated because communities aren’t always unified, and most have levels of power that shape who are the community’s leaders, and who its followers.
